As President of Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) Josephine Vaccarello oversees the strategy and operations of multiple areas of the business, with a focus on enhancing and expanding a portfolio of live experiences for the millions of guests welcomed to the Company’s performance venues at hundreds of events each year.
In this role, Ms. Vaccarello works closely with executive leadership to grow the business, including maximizing the event calendar and ticket sales and delivering unique experiences for artists and fans across renowned venues: New York’s Madison Square Garden, the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, and Beacon Theatre; and The Chicago Theatre. Her purview includes oversight of the Company’s entertainment and sports bookings across concerts, family shows, comedy, performing arts, special events, and marquee sports events, as well as the productions business, which includes the Radio City Rockettes and the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes. In addition to her responsibilities at MSG Entertainment, she also oversees booking live concert residencies and touring acts at Sphere in Las Vegas, which is owned by Sphere Entertainment Co. and is part of the MSG Family of Companies.
Ms. Vaccarello’s career with MSG Entertainment spans nearly 30 years in roles of increasing responsibility. Prior to being named President in September 2026, she served as Executive Vice President of Live, where she led the live entertainment bookings business. In that role she was instrumental in creating new signature events, conceptualizing artist residencies, and delivering unique experiences for artists and fans. This includes some of the most impactful residencies in recent history including Billy Joel’s 150-show franchise run at The Garden; Harry Styles’ 30-show residency at MSG; and concert bookings at Sphere since U2 opened the groundbreaking immersive venue in September 2023. She has also been a key leader in enhancing the artist and audience experience in MSG Entertainment’s venues, including through advanced audio technology such as Sphere Immersive Sound, which made its concert debut at the Beacon Theatre before being introduced at Sphere and then at Radio City Music Hall.
Under her leadership, the MSG Family of Companies’ venues have consistently ranked among the top venues in the world by industry-leading trade publications Billboard and Pollstar. Ms. Vaccarello has also been recognized with numerous industry accolades, including being named to Billboard’s “Power 100,” “Touring Power Players,” and “Women in Music,” and Pollstar’s “Impact 50,” “VenuesNow All-Stars,” and “Women of Live Hall of Fame.”
Ms. Vaccarello began her career with the Company in 1998 as an administrative assistant. She is a graduate of SUNY, Albany with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
