Who are we hiring?
The Systems Administrator will work with the engineering and operations team and must have an all-round understanding of Office 365, Active Directory, and automation scripting using PowerShell. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting and engineering identity solutions, troubleshooting day-to-day operations within on-prem and Cloud AD/Exchange for all MSG venues. The Systems Administrator should have experience with various scripting platforms including PowerShell. The Systems Administrator is responsible for improving the quality of support, including domain services and cloud infrastructure requests managed through ServiceNow, and for developing service catalogs that promote a fully automated environment. The Systems Administrator will offer Level 2 and Level 3 Domain Services and additional Server/Storage Support that includes operation and change management.
What will you do?
- Responsible for day-to-day operational support for Domain Services with expectations of enhancing operations process within Identity Management.
- Support and maintain hybrid identity services across on-prem AD and Azure AD/Entra ID, including administration of SSO integrations (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), and management of MFA, Conditional Access, PIM, and identity governance controls.
- Align Domain Services practices with regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX), conduct audits, and support incident response.
- Develop scripts and workflows using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools to streamline Domain Services operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IAM processes, technology, and automation.
- Responsible for Level 2 and Level 3 support of Domain Services including on-call related Incidents for executives both on-prem and cloud.
- The Systems Administrator will design/engineer and implement Identity automation and intelligence, embracing the opportunities for machine learning and other advanced intelligent platforms to drive outcomes.
- Partners proactively with technology teams and offers support and assistance, to ensure identity services meet security and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain regular, written, and in-person communications with the organization’s executives, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent IT activities.
- Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership, engineering/design and participation for a complex Identity implementation.
- Responsible for drafting and maintaining documentation related to standards and processes for troubleshooting Knowledge Base retention.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or information systems is preferred or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure operations experience, with the technical depth to troubleshoot identity-related outages and provide advanced support across server and storage environments.
- 5+ years’ experience working at an enterprise level company supporting all infrastructure (server, storage, networking)
- 5+ years of experience with top cloud platforms and identity providers, including Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure AD/Entra ID, and/or Okta.
- 3+ years of scripting experience in PowerShell, or Python.
- 3+ years’ experience working with ServiceNow, understanding how to implement and enforce SLAs and other metrics.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Office365 tools and platforms.
- Experience in engineering, designing, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading Microsoft Active Directory (2016 and newer)
Special Requirements
- Candidate selected may have to travel several times throughout the year to other business locations.
- On-Call rotation with other team members.
