Who are we hiring?
Under the supervision of the SVP of Procurement, the Head of Procurement Performance, Analytics, and Strategy is responsible for overseeing the procurement performance, developing and implementing analytics strategies, and enhancing the overall procurement operations efficiency within the organization.
What will you do?
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve the effectiveness of procurement processes across the entire suite of MSG companies.
- Analyze data and trends across a portfolio valued at c. $25b, which transacts 750 – 800 sourcing events annually and Will need to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation to improve time to value for the firm
- Lead the development and execution of procurement strategies in alignment with the company’s overall objectives and goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance procurement capabilities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to ensure successful procurement outcomes.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry best practices to inform strategic decision-making.
- Provide leadership and guidance to procurement teams to drive high performance and operational excellence.
- Assist in developing strategy to leverage cutting edge technology to improve process and performance of Procurement related activities
- Manage Team of Tactical Buyers providing Transactional Buying support for the organization
- Work with Category Sourcing Leads on managing tactical deal flow, and execution strategy for Sourcing Category Plans
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are preferred
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of implementing procurement performance analytics and strategies that drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Proficient in leveraging data, metrics, and workforce trends to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to enhance operational efficiency through process optimization and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
- Travel up to approximately 25% to venues and office locations both locally and nationally as well as supplier visits when necessary.
