Who are we hiring?

The Associate Analyst Benefits will support the Leave of Absence and benefits functions. They will be a key member of Benefits team by assisting in the administration of our Leave of Absence programs including Short-Term Disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requests and all related Time Away from Work. The Associate Analyst will serve as a helpful contact for Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) and employees in providing guidance and assistance on benefit-related inquiries and processes. The Associate Analyst also supports the Benefits Manager on vendor management, compliance, implementation and ongoing administration of other benefits programs such medical, dental, vision, life insurance, Workers’ Compensation and voluntary benefits.

What will you do?

  • Advise and serve as a point of contact for Leave of Absence, Time Away from Work and benefit programs for employee inquiries and provide clear and concise explanations of policies and procedures.  
  • Serve as a resource between employees, HRBPs, managers and our third-party leave administrator during leave administration process from the employee’s initial notice of the need for leave to return to work. This includes timely monitoring the status of all leaves and ADA accommodation requests.
  • Responds to benefits inquiries from employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries  
  • Maintains reasonable communication with employees on leave to facilitate smooth and timely return to work from extended FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, or other leave(s).
  • Track and maintain employee leave of absence in HRIS system. Work closely with Payroll department to ensure processing of payroll for employees.
  • Participate in bi-weekly meetings with third-party administrators to address outstanding leave issues, system updates, and general concerns. 
  • Collaborate on ad hoc management reports on benefits eligibility, leave of absence, and Time Away from Work. 
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements related to manual task and departmental processes.
  • Assist as needed with administration of other areas in benefits department.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration
  • Basic knowledge in handling ADA workplace accommodation requests and ensuring legal compliance
  • General experience of state-mandated leave benefits
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed/globally aligned organization.
  • Confident ability to thrive in matrixed organization, collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external partners to drive outcomes and foster strong relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at simplifying complex information and tailoring messages for diverse audiences.
  • Experienced in handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and time management skills, with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and new ways of working.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quick to adapt to new technologies, with a collaborative approach to achieving team and organizational goals.

Pay Range
$57,000$80,000 USD
