Assistant Treasurer – Radio City

Who are we hiring?
The Assistant Treasurer will work in conjunction with the Head Treasurer and First Assistant Treasurer to ensure the box office operates efficiently. This includes the creation and accuracy of event inventory in the ticket system, reconciliation of system activities and accountability of system revenue. The Assistant Treasurer will also need to sell tickets, resolve customer needs and manage knowledgeable per diem staff of ticket sellers used to supplement the regular staff during peak periods.
What will you do?
- Open and close the secured box office area, including unlocking and locking the vault.
- Manage vault content.
- Perform safe counts, prepare bank deposit, coordinate with armored courier.
- Assist in the management of union staff, specifically per diem ticket sellers.
- Deploy ticket sellers, as well as, manage breaks and meal period.
- Analyze work to be performed, direct staff to perform ticket activities.
- Coordinate with Ticketmaster to create event inventory and put events on and off sale.
- Verify and reconcile daily ticket sales activity for each area within the box office.
- Interact with Teams Sports and Entertainment regarding ticketing their events.
- Interact with promoters providing sales information, ticket hold information.
- Interact with operational depts--Security, House Ticketing, Group Sales and Disabled Services.
- Review work progress, monitor activity and compliance of procedures.
- Reassign staff as needed.
- Respond to customer problems as needed.
- Review upcoming events in ticket system, checking holds and releases.
- Prepare event settlement reports.
- Prepare daily sales recapitulation and all end of day reports in support of all ticket activity.
What do you need to succeed?
- Strong experience in all Ticketmaster Systems and Archtics
- Ticket selling, management, and customer service experience
- Must be detail-oriented possessing excellent organizational skills and a high level of energy and commitment
- Willing to be a team player with the ability to multi-task in a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment.
- Must be receptive to working outside in inclement weather and extreme temperatures.
