Who are we hiring?

The Manager Accounts Receivable will help lead the company’s invoice-to-cash (I2C) process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and cash application. This role oversees accounts receivable operations, supports team development, works to reduce days sales outstanding (DSO), and ensures compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

What will you do?

  • Oversee daily accounts receivable operations, including billing, collections, cash application, and reconciliations.
  • Manage and mentor the Accounts Receivable team to ensure performance goals and deadlines are met.
  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue balances to minimize credit risk and improve collections.
  • Develop and enforce credit and collection policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and analyze AR aging reports and recommend actions to improve cash flow and reduce DSO.
  • Resolve complex billing issues and customer disputes in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Account Management teams to resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Participate in the implementation of the Oracle Fusion project.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes related to accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
  • Maintain the AR subledger and ensure reconciliation with the general ledger, resolving reconciling items as needed.
  • Ensure proper segregation of duties across invoicing, cash application, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain process documentation and ensure SOX compliance for billing, collections, cash application, accounts receivable, and related close activities.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as required.
  • Identify and implement process improvements through automation, system optimization, and reduction of manual processes.
  • Participate in special projects and respond to ad hoc requests from the Vice President of Corporate Accounting and the Accounts Receivable Director.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of accounts receivable or credit & collections experience
  • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable best practices.
  • Oracle experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with WIDEORBIT, Archtics, and Eatec preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to identify issues, conduct research and troubleshooting, and implement timely solutions.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain business processes to both accounting and non-accounting stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments.
  • Experience driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Experience managing high-volume accounts receivable portfolios.

Pay Range
$83,000$130,000 USD
