Who are we hiring?
The Bartender is responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests during events at Madison Square Garden. Must be friendly, outgoing and create a welcoming environment to guests.
What will you do?
- Locations can include Arena Bar stands, Club Bar & Grill Restaurant, Madison Club, and or Delta Club.
- This position is also responsible for assisting in the day to day Food & Beverage operations at the arena during events and maintaining food, beverage and cleanliness of bar areas (includes heavy lifting).
- Checks identification to ensure guest is over the age of 21.
- Mixes, garnishes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests.
- Ring drink orders into register, collects money from guests.
- Adheres to TEAM training guidelines.
What do you need to succeed?
- The ideal candidate will have previous bartending experience, have superior customer service, and communication skills.
- Bartending license a plus.
Special Requirements:
- Able to walk and stand during the entire shift.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 bs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment.
- Ability to maintain certification in T.E.A.M alcohol management training
